Meet the Counselors
Mr. Johnson:
Mr. Johnson has been a school counselor at Stilwell Junior High since 2012. Prior to Stilwell, he had taught biology at Valley High School from 2004-2010, and spent 2 years in St. Paul, MN, where he received his School Counseling degree at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Johnson enjoys spending time with family and being outside as much as he can.
Mrs. Cooper:
Mrs. Cooper has been in the West Des Moines school district since 2004. She attended the University of Northern Iowa for her undergraduate work. She then received her Master's Degree from Drake University. Mrs. Cooper enjoys reading and hanging out with friends during her free time.
